It was a great choice for all ages, we had a baby, a couple in their 30s and 2 grandparents. I found Finlake catered for all of us, was a really good destination and we all had a lovely time. Would definitely recommend this holiday to others, the location and setting were perfect and the lodges were lovely. Nice and quiet, so if you're looking for peaceful and relaxing or energetic and active, it has it all.
Mrs M, Burgess Hill, West Sussex

Getting away from the hustle and bustle of life to relax in a beautiful forest park, with wonderful view and the added treat of hearing owls at dusk was just magical. Thank you Finlake!

Finlake probably has the best setting for its woodland lodges in the entire country - it is so tranquil that any stress you have just simply disappears. My partner wanted to live there - now that is saying something for a holiday park. If we holiday in Devon again then this will be our first choice!
Mr C, WICKFORD
28 July 2009

We have been back several times and have always had a great time. The staff are extremely helpful and it is always clean and to a very high standard. The children look forward to our holiday as much as us and I'm sure we will be returning for many years!
Mrs B, Woking

We just loved every minute of our holiday at Finlake, it was just so peaceful when we went there in May. It was very clean, and we loved the coziness of our lodge. We loved the food in the restaurant, the prices were very good, and with me being vegetarian it worked in very well.
Mr H, FERNDOWN, Dorset
07 July 2009

28 June 2009

A great holiday location and ideal as a base for exploring all Devon has to offer.
Mrs. T, Wendover, Bucks
27 June 2009

The staff and facilities were much more than we expected, we had as good, if not better than attention received in a 4 star hotel - nothing was too much trouble. Despite the rain there was so much to keep our 16/17 year olds occupied, and left us all wishing there was more time to explore the area.
Mrs W, SCUNTHORPE
26 June 2009

Finlake was without doubt the nicest park we have stayed at. It struck exactly the right balance in providing a lovely restaurant and low-key entertainment for the children. I would recommend it to others and would certainly consider staying there again.
Mrs D, Stoke-on-trent, Staffordshire
26 June 2009

18 June 2009

I would definitely recommend Finlake to friends and family. The lodge was clean, cosy and had all the mod cons! T he surroundings are beautiful and there was easy access to various towns and villages - we absolutely loved it!
Miss W, EASTBOURNE, East Sussex
13 June 2009

The park and the surrounding areas are impeccable. Even if the weather is typically British there is plenty to do on and around the park.
Mr S, CREWE
11 June 2009

Highly recommended. My wife booked it and I was sceptical - I had visions of a glorified holiday camp but it was nothing of the sort! Beautiful grounds to walk in, helpful, friendly staff and top quality accommodation. The entire place was spotlessly clean too. We shall be returning next summer, if not before!
Mrs S, BRENTWOOD, Essex
11 June 2009

I would reccomend this holiday if you enjoy the great outdoors and are looking for something different to stop in, rather than a caravan or hotel - we stayed in a log cabin!!!!!!!
Miss. S, NOTTINGHAM
10 June 2009

We have been to Finlake three times now and I would definitely recomend it to everyone that wants value for money. The approach from the main road is beautiful, and the staff are helpful and polite. The park itself is like a nature reserve, we have seen squirrels, badgers, deer, and the most beautiful assortment of wild birds which if you put food out for them, will visit you every morning. You can fish on the lake, or walk through the forest trails there is always something to do..
Mrs P, Bristol, Avon
23 March 2009

My son loved the swimming, the park and the horse riding. I was happy to find out I had a dishwasher so I wasn't stuck to the sink all holiday. A big thank you for leaving tea, milk and suger, that was a great help as I was gasping for a cuppa when we arived.
Mrs F, St Leonards-On-Sea, East Sussex
20 February 2009

The lodges were warm, cosy and inviting after a wet, windy, drizzly autumn day. Always a pleasure to some back to our accommodation after exploring Dartmoor, the local beaches at Dawlish and busy Torquay. We loved the swimming pool and fitness spa, a little bit of luxury for us working mums and our toddlers, without costing an absolute fourtune.
Mrs B, Portsmouth, Hampshire
